Leon wrestled from 6th grade through high school, and was also on the weightlifting team, kickboxing team & chess club. 2014 was his first year as a wrestling coach.

Leon wrestled from 6th grade through high school, and was also on the weightlifting team, kickboxing team & chess club. 2014 was his first year as a wrestling coach. He has been a competitive bodybuilder for the last 36 years, and a personal trainer for 25 of those years.
Leon is a member of the NPC, AAU, USAW, and the Georgia Sheriffs Association, and has been employed by the Clarke County Sheriffs office as a Lieutenant for the last 29 years. He lives in Oconee County with his wife Sonya, daughter Briana, stepdaughter Hunter, and son Blade. Leon is the owner/operator of HI-TEC Body & Bike Shop located in Bogart, and his hobbies include bodybuilding, powerlifting, wrestling, musclecars, & motorcycles.
